I was injured at work and it was 100% the company's fault in 2019. Everything was fine until the insurance company cut me off out of nowhere in 2020. I checked for lawyers and came across this firm. Reviews were all great so I used them. Unfortunately, I have heard nothing from them in an extremely long time (at least a year, probably more). Last I heard the insurance company wanted to settle. I was in desperate need of the money then because of not working. I went through my savings and even into my 401k. I kept waiting thinking I would hear something soon. It never happened. No call backs, no responding emails, nothing. I ended up losing everything. I am a single father, well I was. My son had to go out of state to live with his grandfather because I ended up homeless and couldn't provide for him. It's been a struggle the past year. Not saying this will happen to you, but please check more than just 1 law firm with good reviews. I'll eventually get back to where I was. The money would have helped. Don't ever think you can't lose it all because it happens.

Portner & Shure are a wonderful law firm and a true pleasure to work with. Anyone who has ever received a DUI knows how stressful and overwhelming it can be. I worked specifically with Sarah Sadler who did an amazing job! She knew from the start I was extremely nervous, not knowing what to expect. She went above and beyond and took that worry away. I can honestly say if it weren't for her and her advise I would have been totally lost and drove myself crazy lol. Once i had my trial Mr. Portner was ready to go to battle and he sure did. He as well went above and beyond for me and i am so grateful for them both! In the end they got me the best deal i could ask for regarding my case. if i could give this review a 10 star i would they are truly wonderful people who care deeply about their clients. THANK YOU so much Portner and shure for all the hard work!

Christie and the team at Portner and Shure did a tremendous job handling my case. After a very serious car accident last year, they coordinated all of my medical bills, expenses, insurance and other accident related information to get me moving forward on a path to recovery from my injuries and replacing my car. They were extremely knowledgeable about the entire process, including referring me to very talented specialists that made a tremendous difference in my recovery. I can't thank them enough, they are truly a five star law firm! I can't even imaging having to go through this entire process with the insurance and doctors on my own (while recovering), they clearly have been doing this a long time and they do it very well.

Judging by all of these glowing reviews, perhaps my significant other and I had an isolated scenario. My girlfriend and I got in a car accident. I googled the best lawyers and Portner and Shure came up. I was matched with the paralegal Diane Lazzo or Lazlo IDR.... The only time I had a phone call that lasted more than 2 minutes was our initial conversation. SO UNRESPONSIVE! Diane would NOT respond to texts, emails or calls. Whenever she would respond it, would be from some burner Google voice number! She was NEVER in the office. I would leave messages to some other woman regardless if it was the Frederick location or the one closer to DC. I once had to use the contact form on their site to finally reach her smh. I made one appointment with her and an hour before I came (I was over an hour away) I called to reschedule and Diane wasn't even THERE! I think she wasn't even going bother to let me know she wasn't in the office. You know? Just let me come all that way and deal with whomever was there! We felt like because we were a simple car accident or something that perhaps we were not as important as other clients. No follow up AT ALL! I- MYSELF did said follow ups and sometimes to no avail as I mentioned earlier. After I was silent for almost 4 months Diane hit me from another throw away drug dealer number. She called herself asking about my progress. I told her that she was terrible at her job and to give my files to the next more competent paralegal/firm lol! The people are nice. The firm seems very, very legitimate. That's one star. But, as for my experience, they get a one star. Two star total. So wack... Unless you're a big dog- don't waste your time with Portner and Shure. And if you happen to get Diane Lazwhatever as your paralegal... run!

The law offices of Portner & Shure helped me greatly after pretty debilitating car wreck. Once it became evident that I needed legal counsel I met with Christie Rowland, who then (with the rest of the firm) went about protecting my interests and made my life much easier. When you're hurt it's hard to deal with the constant phone calls and intrusive insurance adjusters. Christie was able to give me the breathing room to heal and put the pieces back together, while giving me the peace of mind that someone was acting in my best interest. I couldn't recommend Her, or Portner & Shure enough
