I was involved in a Motor Vehicle Collision in August of 2022. It was recommended to me through a local town lawyer to hire Timothy Capurso. Over the last 3 years, Tim and his assistant, Meg, have been so wonderful to work with. They are compassionate, understanding, patient, and empathetic. Tim really took the time to listen to everything I had to say, and Meg was always on the ball. When I had questions, they were answered. When I had concerns, they were allayed. Mr. Katz was an attorney for my wife's workers' compensation case. My wife had minor injuries due to a traffic accident while working. She was a Montgomery County Public School employee. MCPS is said to be difficult to deal with for any compensation. My wife's colleague, who was involved in the same accident, hired another lawyer for her case. Because of the well-known difficulties, her lawyer later gave up the case. However, Mr. Katz kept pursuing my wife's case, and in the process, he kept updating me and my wife with what was going on whenever necessary. The attorney of MCPS decided not to pay the medical bills for my wife's treatment, except for the first 3 weeks after the accident. But Mr. Katz provided the judge (or commissioner) with the fact that my wife couldn't have a proper treatment until about 2 weeks after the accident because the insurance adjuster didn't respond to my wife's request for approval. As a result, the commissioner ordered the insurance company and MCPS to pay all the remaining medical bills and to pay my wife the full wage and compensation for temporary total disability. However, there was no additional compensation ordered, which means Mr. Katz would get nothing for his time as an attorney. My wife and I felt so sorry for that, but Mr. Katz told us that he did what he was supposed to do as an attorney, even if he didn't make any money out of the case. We greatly appreciate his time and efforts to win the case, and highly recommend Mr. Katz to anyone who is looking for a lawyer.
