From the very beginning, they were incredibly thorough and took the time to explain every step of the process in a way we could understand. The worse for people I has a woman call me today and explained nicely that my parents are to old to pursue the case ND the money would be too much but was worse she said let's be real African Americans do not live long in America especially males so the united states value them less. In so many words. I stop the call and Sai that is the most racist thing a lawyer ever did told me. And what is sad my father is 79 years ols and mother 75 but people in my family have lived to be 111 oldest male 103 but I was told that today by this firm it was very mean and hurtful I just disconnected the call

We just completed our closing with Baird Mandalas Brockstedt, and it was the worst settlement process we've ever had. We never heard from them while we were working through our documents with the bank, and then they gave us incorrect information a few days before the closing was to occur. It was a remote closing, which we'd never done before,, and they never gave us any understanding of what it entailed, what we would need to do, or anything else - we NEVER HEARD FROM THEM! I just happened to call them a few days before closing because I hadn't heard anything, and that's when they actually explained the process. The whole closing was almost delayed by several days due to this - had they simply contacted me to discuss the process, all the trouble could have been avoided. It was overall extremely frustrating and stressful. After the closing was complete, they never told me it was done (they didn't even let me know they'd received our forms by Fedex - I had to email), and then I had to email again to find out when they were sending our final documents. Never an apology from them - just awful service all around. They made it fully clear that our closing meant nothing to them, they didn't care about giving us good service, and we were a customer they did not value at all. I'd AVOID DOING A CLOSING WITH THIS COMPANY at all costs.
