Please be aware of this attorney is highly unethical and ripping people off. After giving them $2,000 for escrow over a year ago I have been unable to make contact through phone or email. Phone lines are down and emails are returned undelivered. Based on my experience I do not believe this attorney is legitimately practicing law. I would highly recommend reporting them to the office of disciplinary actions and Louisiana State bar association not to mention obtaining an attorney for malpractice and possibly a class action. As of today September 26th 2025 I am currently researching it myself

Alex and Lindsey have gone above and beyond to onsult with and advise me in a complicated family law situation. Alex's direct manner in how to handle different scenarios I've experienced has helped me navigate my coparenting obstacles. Lindsey herself has also helped me in handling a divorce I filed myself when I didn't have funds for professional services. Very compassionate people that truly listen and observe cases from many sides and possible outcomes. Exactly what you want in an attorney handling a sensitive case involving children.

If I could give 0 stars I would! It's been a year since I signed divorced papers and I have not been able to reach the attorney that I paid good money for. I've spoken to Lindsey maybe 3-4 times and she does not ever get back to me on phone or email always out of office. I'm sick of it and tired of being nice. Always getting excuses and the run around. Go file your own divorce at courthouse it's incredible faster and way cheaper!

We hired Alex @ Stanford law for my daughter's divorce /custody case this attorney in my opinion is absolutely the BEST , my daughter's divorce case was an absolute mess it was a nightmare , our first meeting with Alex went great he listened to everything we had to say not once did he tell us shut up or just answer his questions like some lawyers do,alex actually listened you could tell he really cared unlike other attorneys. When me and my daughter walked out of his Law Firm it was like we WON the lottery that's actually how we felt because we knew we found a great lawyer! Alex don't beat around the bush with you he tells you like it is ,there was times I didn't necessarily like what I was hearing mostly due to Louisiana laws but Alex would assure us it will be okay Alex would tell us to trust him and we did ,in the end everything worked out just like alex said it would. Another great thing about this Law Firm is communication to me communication is key, our case was in Louisiana but we live in Texas Alex always kept us updated anytime we had a question normally within 24 hours we would get a call back or a email from Alex or Lindsay. Now let's talk lol , Alex told us his fee up front and explained there could be more fees later on if the case was not settled or went to court blah blah..I think we was 6 or 7 months into the case maybe longer I was worried there was fees stacking up we was unaware of so I called spoke with Lindsay to see where we was at financially she told me there was no money due everything was good! This attorney is NOT like other attorneys he's not going to try to gouge your eyes or break your bank with attorney fees, and unlike other attorneys Alex really does care about his clients and their case he really does, other attorneys say they do but they don't they're just out to make that dollar! Alex, Lindsay & April Stanford Law Firm is absolutely the BEST. My daughter and I will be forever grateful to Alex Lindsey the whole crew at Stanford Law Firm .I cannot tell you how LUCKY you are if you found this attorney OMG HIRE HIM! Stanford Law Firm truly is one of a kind! If i only could get Stanford law to move to Texas God Bless.

Mrs.Lindsey Stanford is extremely kind and so helpful! The grace and kindness she has extended to me is beyond me! She is extremely helpful in so many aspects and is a big part of Acadiana and our mom family community always reaching out and helping wherever she can! She is truly amazing!
