I hired Matt when a business partnership went wrong. I talked to several attorneys in the area but I decided to go with Matt because he was upfront and honest about what I would be spending and going through if I proceeded with my case. I told him I wanted to proceed and Matt went to work. He was organized and dealt when the defendant wouldn't offer a settlement, we went to trial. Let me tell you, you want Matt on your side in a trial. He was absolutely amazing. Matt is a quick thinker. He stood up for me in court like a friend would. Our case took over 2 years because the other side drug it out as long as they could trying to get me to give up, but I never lost hope in Matt. I'm glad that I found him and hired him. I don't think anyone else could have done better than he did. Thanks Matt

Matt Durham.. the best damn attorney in the area! He made magic happen in the courtroom and made exactly what we needed happen .. happen. He is friendly and does not judge. My case was very sensitive and he didn't judge us only helped us!

Client

To say the very least, not happy at all with the representation we received. The communication between Mr. Durham and his son, who both work for the firm, was very poor, as well as communication between us and them ! A lot of misinformation and no apologies. Seems like they didn't have a clue what was going on and when we asked questions they never had an answer or the answer was "It doesn't matter ! " When my son did finally get out, he called Mr. Durham, asked questions, he still didn't have any answers. Because Wesley was irritated and did not have the answers he not just once but multiple times just hung up. Needless to say, this is very disrespectful as well as very unprofessional ! My son also had a $25,000 bond on him because of someone else with the same name but spelled different, different birthdate, different age, different race and lived in a different state ! How this is possible, we'll never know besides the fact that Kentucky is a common wealth state and they can do whatever they want, no explanation needed we have learned this. We were recommended by another individual. I would never recommend either of these gentleman for any case. If I would've listened to my gut feeling I would've never moved forward with them in the first place.

Would not take my case after dropping off completion of parole papers. 100 percent innocent of all charges. Secretary explained M. Durham was booked up untill my court date the 7th of February. Not a very good office or location. Legally the law has to drop all charges in 2 cases since I was let out on a O.R. on the second case both felonies. Law student myself. Explained my case. The law book says lawyer, judges, and prosecutors talk with each other. I guess they didn't hear anything about my case. EPD wasted my time and money by pressing 3 felony charges of assault on me of which there is no evidence, no medical records. All 7 officers that night were wearing over the shoulder body cameras. EPD broke 9 amendments involving criminal procedures, arrest, and intake. I had cash $$$$ and a $2500 scratch off. To give on 26 January 2023.

I am still waiting for my case to be over, but it comes with the territory. I came into the law firm in 2019 and met with Ryan Daknis who made me feel comfortable about explaining specific details and I appreciated the attentiveness that was given. He went to bat for me during the mediation and like I said, even though the process is not complete just yet (COVID), I know that the end is just around the corner. I started working with Matt Durham after Mr. Daknis' departure and he is just as good, he has a good sense of urgency towards my case but mostly because of how long it has taken. I really have no complaints towards anything or anyone, I guess it could be because I have been dealing with the family court for so long I know it is best to let it work its course, if I ever have to deal with anything regarding this subject I would definitely give these guys a call again!
