Absolutely wonderful experience working with Mike. I had given up all hope on finding someone to help me with my unemployment hearing. He reached out to me and was able to properly prepare me and my case with little time before the hearing. He was patient and listened to my grievances, pointing out what we needed to focus on and gave me great advice that will stick with me for a while. My former employer, a corporation valued at 1.7 billion, decided to contest the unemployment benefits I had received over an 8 month period. Meaning I would have to pay the state back a significant amount of money. I was not only shocked, but was treated as if I had done something wrong. Former employer had the opportunity to contest the decision made by the unemployment office of approving for me to receive benefits. It was 7 months later when they decided to contest. I knew my odds weren't in my favor and I had to hire an attorney. I called quite a few attorneys that specialized in unemployment issues. I didn't have a lot of money and soon realized that out of all the attorneys I had called and spoke with their legal aide assistant, only one ( Michael Joshi) decided to take the time to listen to the situation I was in. NO OTHER ATTORNEY even called me back. Very discouraging. Michael knew from the start that it wasn't going to be easy and was honest with me that the decision could very well end in their favor. The only thing we had to stand on, was former employer didn't contest within the allotted time. Not a whole lot. THE ONLY REASON I won my case was because this man fought for me from the second that hearing began. Even if I had lost, I still would have been forever grateful to this man for fighting for me against this 1.7 billion dollar corporation that had repeatedly treated me horribly over and over. I finally beat them and it couldn't have happened without him. Mr Michael Joshi, I could never thank you enough for what you did that day. Of course thank you for winning my case, but MOST importantly, your fight for me gave me the confidence that there are still good people in this world full of bullies. I called and talked to him over phone , he was very professional, very knowledgeable and very honest with me in explaining what I needed to do to appeal my unemployment claim that I was denied due to an error in the unemployment office.
