10/10 DO NOT RECOMMEND. When we first met with Nellie she was very polite, reassuring, and thoughtful. Then it went down hill from there. She did not communicate with us until the DAY BEFORE our first court case. She did not prepare us AT ALL for the court case before hand with trial questions, or tips or anything. Then after the first court case was done, the paperwork had some typos in it. I politely emailed and asked that they change the paperwork, after that email I had ZERO contact with Nellie afterward. She also charged me more money for fixing the typos. We were also charges for making phone calls/sending emails to inquire about the status of our court cases. We were told several times that our paperwork had been filed, but when we would call to check on things, the very next day, all of a sudden the paperwork was THEN FILED. We also had to call several times before anything got done. After our second court case, which Nellie did not appear at, she had another lawyer be present, we were told THAT DAY the "paperwork would be filed and all we would have to do is wait for the papers in the mail." Our payment information changed, so they reached out to me via phone call to get our payment information fixed. At that time, I asked "has the paperwork been filed?" To which the answer was "yes, everything has been filed." I also received late fees on bills, which I don't understand why because I had a payment plan set up. I then received a phone call THE DAY AFTER being told the paperwork had been filed asking me "for more information so the paperwork can be filed." I then asked "just to clarify, the paperwork has NOT been filed?" I received the answer of "no, your paperwork has not been filed." This was FIVE weeks after our court case was finalized. After the final paperwork was submitted, I was then told "my daughter has an out of state birth certificate and Iowa cannot file for her new birth certificate." I then called the lawyer while at the court house, so everyone could be on the same page. I was then told by the lawyer "I'll have to do some research because we haven't done this before." I was done waiting on them to NOT file paperwork that was supposedly already filed. I called the state where I had my daughter, got the answers I needed, and I will be finishing up the paperwork myself. Long story short. DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY WITH THIS PLACE.
