Maura was recommended to us by a friend that had used her in the past and my lawyer also stated they used her in the past. Things started out fine with Maura she accommodated us holding mediation sessions on the weekend to help with our busy schedules. All seemed fine at first We went through two mediation sessions with Maura in August 2024. Maura has yet to send documents out to us from those sessions 2 months later. Yes, what we mediated was extensive deep into details, but she has promised multiple times to send the document to us for review with many excuses as to why she has not sent them yet. Last week she asked me for my document which did not include what concessions were made during the sessions as it was drafted prior to mediation of my wants not taking into account the other parties wants. we were under the impression she was drafting an all inclusive document during these sessions, but nothing has been delivered to us still. Multiple calls and emails have been sent. Responses are few and far between with no substance or progress. We are at square one still two months later. We have 0 protections because nothing has been entered to court order, and we are out the money we spent ( over $1200) at this point in time. Will need to navigate what can be done to get money back from the credit card company via chargeback if she can not provide us the documents soon. DO NOT RECOMMEND TO ANYONE. Save yourself the heartache we are going through. Court processes are stressful enough without this.
