In 2024, Ms. Miller was assigned as the Guardian ad Litem in my custody case in Putnam County. In my experience, she failed to fulfill her duties as outlined by Indiana's GAL guidelines. She did not interview key witnesses, review critical medical and school records, or address documented concerns I provided. Communications were minimal, and I was not given an opportunity to meaningfully respond to her findings before her report was submitted to the court. This lack of thoroughness and impartiality, in my view, resulted in a report that was incomplete and misleading, with significant consequences for my child and me. Based on my experience, I cannot recommend Ms. Miller for GAL appointments.
