I've observed Ms. Connor working in the court room for several months, navigating the proceedings for countless individuals from inmates to members of the public as well as for my son. This is one dedicated attorney, I witnessed her carrying a stack of file folders in her arms, easily 2 feet high. The care, commitment and empathy she showed in the courtroom toward my son and literally everyone else she defended was heartwarming and frankly at times, it was was emotionally moving. Omg, it's Indiana, what kind of judge will he get, what kind of public defender will he get. How will he be treated. My son's mother and I were nervous as heck. Upon learning that Ms. Connor was going to be his P.D. I did my research into her background, I liked what I learned about her. After meeting her and seeing her in person and observing her work for many many months, I can only say, thank God that she was our attorney. Ms. Connor is an absolute gem, a soft spoken, detailed oriented, relentless advocate for her clients. DO NOT HIRE THIS WOMAN! We retained her in March 2025 and paid her $25K cash. She has done NOTHING to move forward and now isn't answering our calls, texts or emails and refuses to return our money. She won't even visit her client in person at the jail! I finally had to file a Request for Attorney Investigation with the state of IN last week. Find another attorney! This one will take your money and run!
