Steven E. Balk

Balk does a good job and is my go to for anything that I need. Most of these bad reviews are due to either unrealistic expectations or people who just need someone to blame. 10/10 recommend.

As soon as they received our retainer, it was very clear that we were not a priority to them. It took several emails or phone calls to get any updates. We got passed off to another attorney who was unfamiliar with our case. We did end up settling, but they failed to inform us that we needed to show up in person for something until the day of. Then they sat on our settlement check for over a month before forwarding it to us, even with several follow-up emails.

He seems uninterested in helping just doing minimum amounts of work so he can tack charges on. He doesn't listen to concerns or the goal of the client. Honestly I don't expect him to be in business much longer. The service he offered was less than pathetic.

Paid for Balk to represent my son in divorce/custody proceedings and it seems we paid him to represent the ex wife! Can not recommend!

I have been rescheduled frequently. Hard to get into. Long waiting list speaks of how well his service is.
