Dave is a great lawyer and an amazing human being. I have known him for years and, due to his experience, refer cases to him that I need assistance with. He always makes himself available to give me advice and answer my questions, and never rushes me or makes me feel unwelcome. Clients love his work and lawyers love working with him.

Long overdue review, but Mr.Fewkes helped me with an unfortunate event in my life. He was responsive and explained everything well, listened to my side and was genuinely concerned and thoughtful to get me the outcome that I frankly demanded. He stayed on budget even in the crazy covid shutdowns that kept delaying the entire process, which I would've imagined a lesser person would've used that to inflate their bill. He has a stellar reputation and lives up to it. I couldn't give him a higher recommendation.

I am a female, 18 y/o. I had come in for a drug case with nothing else on my record willing to pay the price he gave me (and was going to), but when trying to answer his questions Dave would cut me off and I didnt feel that that was very necessary or fair when the things that I wanted to say were important to the case. When I told dave that it irritated me when he would cut me off, it didnt really seem like he cared that he did. I will admit, I did get a little heated because of that. My mother also joined me for that session, but when I told her to please not talk because she wasnt there when it happened and that shes only there for support he wouldnt take my case anymore. I feel that I was not treated fairly at all and deserve an apology for the way i was rejected as if this was a normal thing he does.

Dave is a great attorney that I rely on for help with Illinois referrals. Highly recommended!
