I contacted this firm and scheduled an appointment to evaluate my home's case. I understand that deciding whether to take a case can depend on multiple factors. In my particular situation, my mother is Spanish-speaking, and I committed to helping her as an interpreter. After weeks of waiting and having initially been told "yes" to taking the case, I spoke directly with the attorney. During that conversation, I was told they would reschedule the appointment and that I could assist my mother with translation if needed. However, after waiting several more weeks for the new date, we received a letter stating they could not provide the service because they "do not have an interpreter." This response, besides being contradictory, was extremely disappointing and gives the impression of being discriminatory. What I regret the most is the wasted time and the lack of transparency from the very beginning. If I had been told upfront that they couldn't take the case, I would have sought other options. In the end, the process felt very unprofessional. Some of us still believe in a person's word, and in this case, we trusted you -- and ended up disappointed.
