Client
Zero communication skills. None. Nada. No common sense either. Have not personally retained or worked with her or her firm but never would based on recent, reasonable inquiries that went ignored for weeks. If you are out of your office for an extended period then please arrange for someone else to cover in your absence. Ignoring messages isn't the best course of action. Further, you are free, of course, to set your own office policies and practice policies but common sense dictates that if a client sends you a written request, you return that courtesy, in writing, explaining your policy, why you cannot do what has been asked, and what further steps the client needs to take. A single phone call to an unchecked voicemail is not sufficient (if that even happened.) Very poor way to respond, especially for a longtime practitioner of the law. There are many other elder law practitioners out there, I'd highly recommend people seeking help find a lawyer more sensitive to the real life perils and facts of aging.
