Well let me start by saying that they are the best law firm in the Chicago land area . Back in 2014 I lost my job and the team of experts got my case settled in 3 months. And everytime I call about something (because I forget stuff) they are very helpful and polite. Just call last week 8/22 To get my award letter faxed to my new bank otherwise you have to wait until SSA mail's you one which can take a couple of weeks. Thanks for helping me. And also sorry to hear about those of you who didn't get the best service from them. .

So I made the call today and what a great first impression I was very Wowed at the way the conversation went. I spoke with Amy she answered the phone and I assumed she was a receptionist but to my surprise at the end of the conversation she stated she was actually an attorney. She was very helpful and informative. She advised me what would be the best thing for me to do. I felt really good when I hung up, I felt like a piece of the cloud over me lifted a little. I can't thank those that took care of me at Nash, enough. I've been chronic for over 41 years and withstood pain throughout a long and successful career. It was Elizabeth Blackwell at Nash that understood. She knew how much I loved my career and how defeating it was to walk away from it. Elizabeth walked me through every step of the process and reassured me that if I was just honest and truthful, I could tell my story and finally be heard. It's not a warm and fuzzy industry and for all the reasons we understand why. It's those that take advantage, that can sour those responsible for approval decisions. But despite that, I always felt I could ask any question and all questions of Ms. Blackwell-- and always received a complete and thorough answer. I chose Nash because of their reputation. I was fortunate to be assigned Ms. Blackwell. I couldn't have been more fortunate to have a kind and gentle soul who genuinely cared about the 41 years the state did not. I also want to thank Shantel Johnson, who was the shoulder I cried on, the listening ears that took my frustration like a trooper. In the end, I was successful. This decision, while not a bounty of money, was more important to me-- that someone actually understood the pain that couldn't be seen. You don't get rich off disability, but it does help you to stretch your dollars a little further.
