I went to Casa Michoacan because I an having an issue with the government and didn't know where else to turn. Some friends and family told me that Casa Michoacan will be able to sit me down with someone to help me. I was introduced to Mr. Martinez at Casa Michoacan. We spoke for a bit and he told me that he will be able to help but I need to meet him at his office on 26th St. I felt a bit off because I thought that the service will be through Casa Michoacan. When I got to his office the next day it seemed like I walked in to a used car lot. He started talking at me instead of to me. He said that he will take a case for a low fee of $750. That is to start and can go higher if the case takes longer. After that statement he said, "Me charging you $750 doesn't even pay my rent. It's cheap and I don't make any money off of this case. I don't get paid by the government for this." I am on a fixed income and thought that since he was with Casa Michoacan, it will be more affordable. At that point I said thank you for your time and walked out. No judgement but the pricing could have been shared with me at Casa Michoacan and I would have not wasted anyone's time.

I did not have a good experience with this law firm. I hired them back in April 2024 for my divorce case. After 2 Status hearings in divorce court (thru Zoom) he suddenly notifies me that he's dropping me as a client, claiming that he didn't have enough manpower at his office to handle my case. He charged me $3000 for 2 meaningless hearings in which nothing was accomplished in my case. This was a monumental waste of money. Do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. This law firm left me hanging when I needed them the most
