Normally I would have given him 5 stars, but with my new case I can't even get a return phone call. I have left two messages with Leah and nothing. I took my child support case to them on July 28 and have not heard a word since. It is now September 11. Very disappointed.

Beyond his technical professionalism and proficiency in the practice of law he is moreover a man of great integrity and adheres to the highest level of personal ethics. Doug will tell his clients up-front what a civil suit or defense before a criminal court will cost them. He requires a small portion of that fee up-front and the balance of the fee to be paid later. The fee remains what he stated to you originally: it is not meanwhile inflated by various alleged costs, telephone time, and some of the other gimmicks some lawyers will claim as "standard professional practice." His fees remain what he first stated to you. Best of all he wins the cases he accepts! Honesty, integrity, professionalism and effective advocate and litigator - - - that's Douglas Merkley Esq.!

I highly recommend Doug, between him and Leah I was able to win what I was asking for. Advise for any future clients.. if doug gives you advise about your case follow it if you want to be successfull. I can't thank them enough and I will definitely be using them again!

Worse client care! Very unprofessional whoever takes their calls. First impressions are everything when deciding to hire an attorney and the first phone call was enough for me to go elsewhere!

They did nothing to help me. I got screwed in the end. Doug talks a good game but when it comes down to it they did absolutely nothing to help! I can't even talk to my son!! Public defender would have been better!
