Follow Up: After posting my review Balen reached out multiple times after I wrote this, working her very best to mend the bridge. Balen researched multiple civil laywers to help me gain some sort of justice here. We are meeting for coffee soon to chat. I can say that iver the weeks Balen and I have built a friendship and she does care about her clients. My case was difficult as it crossed over into medical malpractice and civil rights violations I should have given more grace for that........I borrowed a lot of money to be able to afford Balen as an attorney. I'm still paying that back, and that's nobody's fault But my own. However, I borrowed the money for less than par Legal counsel, who pushed false narratives about me being on a hold in a hospital, I wasn't she allowed prosecutorial misconduct by allowing the prosecuting attorney to mislead the judge by telling him I was in a nursing facility. Not a mental health facility. When the facility's name says it's a mental institution. She didn't fight for me. Knowing that I was falsely imprisoned by this hospital. Knowing I never should have been there. Therefore I never, ever should have been arrested there. No, kidnapping victim gets charged with a crime for breaking the window of their nappers house to get away. But yet, I was charged after being falsely, imprisoned, and my lawyer just laid down like a dog and helped the prosecution push a false narrative, If this is the kind of counsel you want, sign up.
