It's a shame that your senior paralegal does not understand what ambulatory wheelchair user means. She finds it to be "miraculous" and humorous to see disabled people get out of a wheelchair chair to walk a few feet. Not everyone who needs the use of a wheelchair is paralyzed. There are several disabilities where people can't walk far and need a wheelchair for long distance. It's unfortunate, but the 3500 people who have commented on her ignorant social media post will NEVER hire this law firm . The numbers are growing.. Sadly you told all of these people that you don't care what your employees do. Not a good look for a personal injury law firm

To help educate them, here are some medical conditions that require people to use ambulatory wheelchairs: Multiple Sclerosis Parkinson's Disease Cerebral Palsy Stroke (post-stroke mobility issues) Traumatic Brain Injury (TBI) Peripheral Neuropathy Spinal Cord Injuries Arthritis Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome Fibromyalgia Chronic back or spinal conditions (e.g. herniated disc, spinal stenosis) Postural Orthostatic Tachycardia Syndrome (POTS) Dysautonomia Congestive Heart Failure Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD) Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) Lupus Cancer (active treatment or aftermath) Recovery from surgery or injury Balance disorders / frequent falls It appears that this entire law firm could benefit from disability awareness training. Discriminating against people with disabilities should never be tolerated. I would advise anyone looking for legal help to hire a law firm with strong ethical values. It's unfortunate that a firm that deals with personal injury has such an openly ableist paralegal. I wouldn't trust a firm that condones that kind of behavior from their employee.

Employees an openly ableist paralegal and refuses to address the issue. Do not trust this firm with anything disability related (or in general if you are disabled). They do not care about the rights of disabled people

You can not go wrong with Luke Martin. Luke started representing me the day before I had court and at the time I was offered a heavy sentence with 3 years to serve in prison and 10 on probation, before the next calendar call he had my charges dropped.
