Legal malpractice at it best. I plan on reporting her to the bar.Dont do it. Even if you trying to do black dollars. Order of deduction come in late and or wrong and they wont admit it to the hudge. taking half of my check. Money end up missing over 4500. And when my employer call it out and I ask to speak to the judge my case was some how dismissed without me getting any notice. Paperwork you go get they lost and miss place.. you can't even talk to her ever. You have a easier time getting Trump on the phone. They never call or call back. I been waiting 1 week for a call back. So now I have to refill for a 3rd time to keep my house because of there miss handling paperwork.

While the overall bankruptcy process was OK, i learned a lot with my experience with this firm. #1 Communication was my biggest pain point and it needs to be worked on throughout the firm - I called on multiple occasions & the front desk stated they didn't have access to Ms. Robert's schedule, just that she was currently on the phone and would notate that i requested a callback. To add to that, i understand that my case is not the one and only & Ms. Roberts works on many simultaneously, but there was one instance where a call was setup for reaffirmation questions, within the first 5 minutes the call dropped - i immediately called back, but per front desk she was already on the phone, they notated my file - and i also wrote on the portal stating i had questions on the process and never heard back to address my questions, only received the document a few weeks later. #2 Expectations regarding payment - when we did our consultation, we were told there would be a retainer fee + 3 installments. The only way we were ever notified to pay was via LawPay, where the link to pay the retainer came from, and the link to pay the first installment came from. After that, we never received another link to pay until closer to our "expected discharge" date, and while we agreed to make these installments, the expectation was set in the way we received these emails and were never told otherwise. I thought perhaps it was only when she was in our file that she would send an invoice, or whenever they were ready for payment. So we ended up "missing" a deadline for our certificates and our date got pushed back because they didn't receive the certificates in time even though they were submitted 2 months in advance. However, the legal assistant told me that they were not filed by the deadline because we had a balance at the deadline date - so my advice MAKE. SURE. That you have clear understanding and what the expectations are of you on your end before assuming. - advice for the customer, but also advice for the firm - to make it more clear for young, first timers experiencing this like me. We are now discharged & i do not regret the experience, but i wish that the communication and expectations were more firm than what they were.

Working with Lisa Roberts was a great experience. I sent her all my information And she is executed my case and I didn't have to worry about anything. She had an excellent staff that will help you with anything you need. My experience with her was wonderful. I will recommend her to any of my family members and friends. She made my tough times into a new beginning.

WORST lawyer ever!!! Ms. Lisa Roberts is so unprofessional! I tried hiring her for bankruptcy and she basically didn't even work on it for two months. Then she recommended that I should do another process after two months of doing nothing. So I asked for a refund. It was sent to my old payment method. So I quickly contacted them right after I seen refund went to wrong payment method. Multiple representatives of hers asked and noted down my new payment method. Her representatives wrote down my ENTIRE CARD NUMBER & CVC & EXPIRATION DATE!! I've been calling two weeks about my refund. Now Ms Lisa ROBERTS calls me today and says there is no way for my refund to get resent. So I asked why would your representatives ask me every time I called in this two weeks timeframe for my new card number over the phone then? She states "She's new here". Mind you I talked to multiple representatives, female and male and they all told me my refund would be getting resent. You would think somebody at the firm knows the refund policy besides Ms Lisa Roberts. She told me to contact my bank and they could reroute my funds. I contacted my bank and they found no transfers from Ms Lisa Roberts! But she told me the refund was already "wrote off". So now I'm still owed money & she's is not trying to refund me. & before you comment back Ms.Lisa Roberts yes I was very irritated with you on the phone call because your lack of professionalism and sympathy is very sad. You'll sent my money to wrong payment method a day after my father passed. A time when I needed all of my money. So for your representatives to ask for my updated payment method and not tell me the payment couldn't be resent. Is wrong and you'll are basically doing what criminals do but in a law firm doing it.

Attorney Lisa M. Roberts and her staff were very professional and helpful during my bankruptcy. She was quick to answer any questions I had and they made sure I understood everything that was going on with my case. They are a very reputable and professional law firm. I would recommend her firm to anyone that is looking to file bankruptcy or also needs tax relief and is expecting to receive good, quality service.
