I am glad this journey is finally over! I researched for an African American attorney firm to represent me with my vehicle accident, which was due to no fault on my part. I found The Foster Firm, and if I had it to do all over again knowing what I know now, I would choose another firm. At the very beginning the service was good. But as the case went along it turned not good. I had to constantly contact the case manager,and the office manager (no names will be given) for an update. I never talked to an attorney until today, one time, that's it! I was given conflicting information. It just seemed as if the effort was gone. If I didn't call to get an update on my case, I believe I would still be waiting, and that is no lie. At the end I had to call my insurance company to get an update on funds that I felt were already disbursed to the law firm, and they were. I don't know how long they had my funds, weeks maybe. I would email my case manager, and most of the time I wouldn't get a response back until days later, and only then when I would reach out with a follow up email sometimes.. I had to go into advocate role for myself, because I was given misinformation constantly. I don't know if maybe my settlement was not a large enough amount is why the care was minimal. I don't feel as though they really worked to get the best settlement possible, and just settled for whatever. This experience has left me with a bad taste in my mouth, especially since I chose them specifically, and they let me down. BADLY!!!
