I experienced very passive to no action from Rae Ann when I had an easy, clear cut case. (I ended up going Pro Se bc of last minute drop the ball from Rae Ann and when I had to represent myself two months later I won the judgement. But I am sure I could have done better for my kids with a real attorney). Todd seems to have more of a conscience but Rae Ann was all "yes" and "sure" during the consult but nothing beyond standard filings with the court after the retainer. If you need a Legal Admin, this is your place. If you need Legal Leadership, this is not your place. Not one ounce aggressive or drive to guide your case to the best scenario for you and your children.

Rae Ann is a ver lack luster attorney who says one thing in the consultation and does completely nothing or very minimal. Would not recommend her if you need someone to collaborate with you and stay on the ball. I spent more time following up with them, asking what is next and managing them.

Terrible law firm. I waited until now to file a negative review because I see that as a last resort. I hired Todd Smith to handle a case for me nearly 5 years ago and while he was unresponsive, late to appointments often and the a very rude staff, I overlooked it because he seemed to be handling things for the most part. However, as we got towards the end of the court case he just kind of... gave up? He was supposed to file a final form to resolve the case and finalize it. I was told it had been sent. Months later, nothing. After countless phone calls, an extremely rude staff who overtly acted as if it were a bother to speak to me and me having to physically drive to the office and force a meeting still nothing but excuses and promises to do what they had been paid to do. I finaly had enough and called the Florida State Bar to invoke action. We immediately received a phone call and it seemed as if this would finally be resolved. It's been years now and I have officially given up. We'll deal with it ourselves after having paid over $20k. Thanks Todd. I would highly recommend looking elsewhere for any legal needs you may have. This company DOES NOT value its clients or their time. Only their $$$

Todd Smith - I must say, his excellent knowledge of parental alienation comes in part, from having a front row seat at the 3-year circus of a prior slimy, money-loving, status-seeking, client A.M. Todd was retained and witnessed her shatter the life of her (well educated, white collar professional) ex-husband by lying about domestic abuse, (landing him in jail) which she almost immediately recanted; learned of the perpetual and 'almost' imperceptible emotional child abuse which entailed convincing the children their father no longer loved them, and that they too witnessed and endured physical abuse (which never occurred); saw the pre-meditated and entirely successful manipulation of a GAL, a LMHC, and Judge Alicia Polk to favor her through consistently tear-filled, courtroom and office theatrics. The ex husband has since attempted suicide over the loss of his children and to this day is still dealing with this monster of a "woman" as she drags him into court routinely. Parental Alienation at it's worst! Mr. Smith no longer represents this loser. Perhaps she was too much to handle. Please ensure your case is represented by an attorney that has a soul.
