I had a very disappointing experience with Elsa, the intake specialist at this attorney's office. From the beginning of the call, I felt a complete lack of empathy or compassion for my situation. Instead of listening and trying to understand the circumstances, her questions and comments felt dismissive. She then transferred me to another person who had a similar attitude. Instead of calling me back after speaking with the attorney and explaining why they cannot take my case, they texted me with referral information. I left the conversation feeling more discouraged than when I called- like my case was being judged before it was even understood. When someone reaches out to a law office- especially in vulnerable circumstances- they deserve to be met with respect, patience, and at the very least, basic human understanding. Unfortunately, that was not my experience with Leighton Panoff Law.
