Wow. Im not even sure I have the words that would, that could do justice to the kind of service and support Gans Law provides to help with traffic citations. I spoke with Ian Wise last month and retained him for representation of my son and he did way less work than a free court-appointed lawyer does! He never met with my son a single time in jail to get information and prepare him for his first hearing in court. He had to be shown who my son was in the court room because he never met him. He never even spoke to him on the phone. I requested that a request for immediate release by bond be filed because prior to arrest he was caring for me 24/7 as I am critically ill. Ian Wise said he would and then never filed it! Ian also promised to meet with the judge and explain our situation and said he was certain the judge would allow him to bond out and wear an ankle bracelet so he could continue caring for me. To my knowledge I am sure he never spoke to the judge! Ian then spoke to my son in the courtroom during the hearing and scared him into letting him enter a conditional plea on my son's behalf that was horrible instead of fighting for him in a trial. This led to a final judgement being ordered including 364 days of jail time for my son and now I'm left without a caregiver. THIS LAWYER WAS DISHONEST AND DID NOT MEET HIS DUTIES TO REPRESENT HIS CLIENT'S WISHES TO THE BEST OF HIS ABILITY.. Be warned! Do not give this firm your money! He charged me $6500 to do almost nothing for a case that took less than 3 weeks and got us a horrible result! A year of jail time for petty theft! RIDICULOUS! Now my son who's dad died a few months ago, who quit his job to come take care of me, is sitting in jail for a year and I have nobody to help me.
