Richard has been our attorney for 17 years now. My first experience with Richard he handled my divorce. Richard was so professional, kind and courteous that even my ex husband liked him and has retained Richard's services on other matters himself. Richard was instrumental in saving my home in 2008 during the time when so many people were losing their homes he explained to me that he had never handled a foreclosure case before but he would do his best to help us. Richard worked diligently for 6 years and I am so grateful to him that I was able to keep my home. The banks kept firing and hiring new lawyers and dragging the case on forever but he never gave up! He said he doesnt like to lose and he meant it. He has helped several of my family members as well as friends and I cannot say enough good things about this man. He is very reasonable with his fees, better than most. If you need a good attorney that truly cares about his client then Richard Gitlen is who you need.

Attorney Richard Gitlen is a great attorney who gives his clients his full attention and likes to think outside of the box. He is understanding and passionate about his work. He has helped me in many different areas of law and will always use him if I need an attorney.

Stay away from Richard. He is extremely unorganized , unprofessional , does not answer emails , calls or texts. He takes your case, money , and states he is knowledgeable but then when he is losing he informs you then he is not experienced in the type of law you hired him for. I had to teach him how to use zoom on several occasions for the hearings. He will then drop your case when he is losing claiming you did not follow his instruction when there was no instruction from him as he asked me what to do next. Save your emails, calls and texts with him as they will serve you well when you report him as I have to the Florida Bar. Thank God for good judges that did not allow him to drop my case as he tried without giving me all my documents which took several hearings and to this day I do not have a complete file. The judge had to explain to him what and how to send me my file. Just find someone else ---
