I hired Mr. Dempsey to handle a case for me. Needless to say his performance was unprofessional and non responsive. Absolutely nothing was done to alleviate my situation. After several months of unreturned phone calls and personal visits I had to resort to the Florida Bar to get my retainer back. Save yourself the hassle and find another attorney. You are wasting your time and jeopardizing a possible positive outcome for your case. I would have been better off giving myself retainer to my pet Chihuahua to represent me than hiring Donald Dempsey.

I retained Mr. Dempsey to get a pay off amount and negotiate on my behalf for my home that was in foreclosure March of 2019. Once I received the payoff amount in December 2018 Mr. Dempsey advised me to offer the lender less than half of what they wanted. After two or three weeks of not getting response from Mr. Dempsey I sent multiple emails, text messages, and phone calls to Mr. Dempsey he never replied. In January I sent multiple emails and text messages asking Mr. Dempsey for a response he never responded. In February I sent Mr. Dempsey multiple emails to find out the status of my case he did not respond. Finally in March Mr. Dempsey sent me a letter stating it would be wise to accept their offer mind you the house gets foreclosed on that month. I would not recommend this attorney as he has poor communication skills. He never gave me any updates. I was extremely disappointed how he handled my case.

Life saver. Attorney Dempsey did not set us up for failure, skirt, sugarcoat or skirt our situation just to take our money. Attorney Dempsey told us the real truth, concerning our current critical situation. Gave us options and nuggets and suggestions. No guessing when, what or where something is going to happen or take place. I finally have some peace, even though my situation is far from over or good. We now know what's ahead, now I can sleep better at night. My husband and I can better prepare ourselves and not worry about being blindsided, and put in a position to possibly lose everything we've worked hard for without a fight.

Very difficult to contact at times. Does what he says he's going to do. Trustworthy and well connected. Just a little pricey but definitely worth it. I love the fact that this practice is highly professional and will work with you on payments. Saved my butt from sitting in jail during my trial with a bond hearing that was reduced dramatically from the original. Very private

This is the worst attorney I have ever come across. He will take you money though and provide nothing in return. I had my case reviewed by other Attorneys and they can't see anything he has ever done for me or anyone else. You know when they preface it with, "Well, I don't want to say anything bad about another attorney." then you know what they do tell you is just the tip of the iceberg.
