I've closed a few transactions with Maury and Ray. Their support staff is competent, reliable and responsive. As a REALTOR(r), it's important that I have real estate attorneys I can rely on. They do a great job.

Biggest waste of money I have ever invested in a law firm. Was charged an insane amount of money ($10,000 on top of the $7500 retainer fee) for my attorney, Kevin Jerucko, to become familiar with my case. Then, I was charged more money when I had to meet with him in person to familiarize him with the case! It was shocking and disheartening to find out he didn't even know basic facts about the current order, my ex, or ongoing litigation. I highly recommend you save your money and hire a different law firm. Sometimes spending double the money does not equate to better representation.

Avoid This Law Firm at All Costs - Utterly Incompetent and Unethical This firm is a disgrace to the legal profession. In 2014, they placed a lien on my property. One of their attorneys has since passed away, and now they claim to have no record of the lien or the payment--yet I'm the one left to clean up their mess while trying to sell my property. Instead of taking responsibility, they pass the burden onto the victim, forcing me to hire another attorney to resolve their incompetence. Stay far away from these people unless you want legal nightmares instead of solutions.

During my active working 35 years as a Realtor/Developer Ray Ivey with Scruggs Carmichael Firm closed over 700 real estate transactions for me. In one of those years, I had a high of 72 closings. All were successful closings with no issues.
