After several attempts to have them contact me to discuss our issue, they finally set up a free phone consultation two weeks later. Matthew Broderick was the lawyer who called. Although I had sent a three-page timeline of events, as requested by their office, he was ill prepared, asking even the simplest questions such as the doctor's name. We proceeded with sending the medical records via drop box for his review and he estimated he would get back with us within 6 business days. After two weeks I called and left a message for Mr Broderick. He did not respond. I then emailed Frank Alas, who I assume is an assistant, at their office to request an update. He did not respond. I then called and spoke with Mr Alas, who said he spoke with Broderick and was told he was "still reviewing the records and would call me early next week." It's now been three weeks since we were told we would be contacted regarding the records review. Very disheartening. Zero confidence in how they would handle this case without constant prodding to get to the first step! Obviously we are not a big enough settlement or perhaps we don't have a winnable case; but the message is clear that they do not care.
