I had Amy Van Sickle assigned to my sons case during a messy custody trial. To where I felt hopless and scared that nothing would change for my son. I am being honest when I say she was the best thing that could of happened to my 4 year old. She was not my lawyer. She was his. And defended him well and only with his wellbeing in mind. I have had my own fair share of lawyers. And not 1 of them compare to how she was for my son. She told me how it was. No sugar coating or tricky techniques to get money out of you. Just straight to the point. If you need someone who really does care about the wellbeing of your child you can't go wrong going hiring Amy Van Sickle. I am forever grateful and my son is too.

Amy Van Sickle was commissioner on my RTO case. She was unethical, showed prejudice, unethical with zoom practices and demonstrated emotional Mental behavior. Was unfair with danction of atty fees on 2 cases. Wld never recommend Amy as a atty or commissioner

If I could give her a zero I would. She was appointed by the courts in our high conflict divorce. She recomended 50/50 custody even though there was past evidence of emotional abuse by my ex (the evidence was in file from before Amy was appointed but she refused to review past files). Since the 50/50 orders, my ex is not providing the medical care he was ordered to do. I have informed Amy of these issues and she will not answer my emails and is not attempting to help her clients, my children.

Counsel Van Sickle is AMAZING!!! Counsel Van Sickle is straight forward and really goes to bat for her clients. I watched Counsel Van Sickle in court prior to retaining her. The judge very much respected Counsel Van Sickle. Counsel Van Sickle will not take advantage of you. Many attorneys use the emotional vulnerablity of their clients to their advantage to thicken their own pocket books. When I watched Counsel Van Sickle in court the opposing Counsel was unreasonable with the clients requests. It was obvious the opposing attorney allowed the client to believe they could win on matters they had zero chance of winning. The judge saw right through it. Counsel Van Sickle's client was awarded a more than fair result receiving more than they requested. If you are looking for an attorney to help you come to resolve and move on with your life while keeping your best interest at heart without breaking the bank Counsel Van Sickle is PERFECT!!!

Amy is not good at all! She was my lawyer for an entire year and she did literally nothing for me. She never once fought for me or did what i asked. Every time the opposition did something that broke the agreement she didn't even try to stop them. She just kept saying "there is a time to fight" while the opposing party broke the law and the mediators agreement and walked all over me. I paid her a lot of money for the same exact results or probably worse results than if I was representing myself. My family and I have suffered irreversible emotional damage because this lady was representing me the past year.
