was charged over $1,800 for what amounted to about an hour in court. Much of the bill came from the paralegal overcomplicating things with unnecessary paperwork and phone calls. I even had to correct mistakes, and then saw charges related to that correction. My court date was in May, but I didn't receive a bill until July. When I questioned some of the charges, including a duplicate, it took a lot of back-and-forth before I received only a partial refund. I didn't actually receive the refund check until September, after first being told one had already been sent (which I never got) and then waiting for another. This whole process was stressful and felt unprofessional. I would advise anyone considering this firm to review their billing very carefully.

I was referred to Temica Smith back in 2018 by an attorney in a different case. I had a very tough case stacked against me. There were times I just wanted to quit. But she never gave up on me and guided me through my custody battle. She has been the best. Communication is key, and her and her staff have met that time and time again. She is very blunt . Temica is absolutely worth the five stars. She helped me on somewhat of a last minute situation and was extremely helpful. Not only did she give me great legal advice, but also gave her useful opinion on a personal level. She is extremely welcoming and friendly.
