Joe misrepresented my case to the point where I would have infinitely better results self-representing with the court. Joe failed to file critical paperwork with the court and only focused on the custody case, while you get reemed on the child support which he offered next to zero guidance with Child Support Services and has you fill out all the paperwork by yourself. Joe also asked me to prepare a lot of documentation for him which he never read and then argued with me about ever sending to him. Joseph D. Castagno is a master of gas lighting you. When you provide proof that the information was sent (with past emails, highlighted segments from documents, etc.) he just ignores that it happened and sticks to his narrative. Joe Castagno also has a bad habit of trying to buddy up to the other attorney and your ex in the courthouse and will inappropriately divulge information about the case and his client to them. Bottom Line: Joe Castagno can't deliver on basic promises and achieve desired outcomes for his clients. I would rather throw a dart at a phone book to find another attorney than recommend him. If you are thinking of hiring Joseph D. Castagno, save yourself the time and just put $50k in the fireplace and light it on fire.
