My experience trying to hire Mr Beinswanger to help with my divorce case was a nightmare. I have a legal insurance, and he was the only one listed for the Merced County. Over 6 weeks ago, I contacted his office, and the secretary took my information and told me that he will review my information and get back to me 2 weeks later. Two weeks came and I called his office to follow up. The same secretary booked me for a phone appointment with Mr Beinswanger for the following week. I spoke on the phone with Mr Beinswanger the following week and he told me he was too busy to take cases that were outside Merced. When I told him my case was in Merced County, he replied that he would be able to take the case. He told me to email him all the documents and will look at them on Monday. He also told me that his secretary would follow up with me to schedule an appointment for the following week. So, I worked hard to prepare all the documents and emailed them to him over the weekend. The next week came and passed but I hadn't heard from him nor from his secretary. I followed up with an email asking for an update. He emailed me back asking for my phone number so he could call and discuss the documents. A week passed and I hadn't heard from him. Then, I followed up with another email, but he never replied. The week after (2 days ago) I called his office and the same secretary answered. I told her I had been trying to get hold of Mr Beinswanger over and over but failed. She told me she was just preparing to send out my representation agreement via mail. When I told her I was out of town she told me she would send the agreement through docusign by the end of the day. I told her that he had asked for my phone number already and he was going to talk to me, so why couldn't we talk. She replied that he wouldn't talk to me unless the agreement was signed. She called me the next day and made a phone appointment for next week, but I never received the docusign. I called her the next day (today) and told her that I never received the docusign. She replied that Mr Beinswanger need to speak to me before I sign the agreement. Remember, she told me the complete opposite a few days back, that I needed to sign the agreement before he could speak to me. In short, I have been given the run around. As a result, my case have been delayed for over 6 weeks due to empty, inconsistent and contradictory promises. I will cancel my appointment next week as I could never trust Mr Beinswanger to handle my case.
