Shegerian and Associates was my first experience with a law firm. They assigned Neil Nabavi, the best attorney, to my case. Neil's greatest attributes have led him to be considered the best attorney. His knowledge and great personality helped me move forward through every step of the case. Not only did he help me get the best result, but he also helped me with my anxiety during the case. Thank you so much Neil, you are the best! :)

Shegarian & Associates far surpassed my expectations. Jacob, my attorney, was responsive, polite and very patient with me through the whole process. At the end of the day, I've been pleasantly suprised how easy they made this, how little stress I experienced and how professional everyone I dealt with at this firm. Thank you Jacob for your efforts and thank you Shegarian and associates for providing me with the opportunity to obtain the justice I deserved. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS FIRM!

THE BEST.
I have never been so happy with a law firm. I contacted them for employment law,
Sasha Dismuke is very professional and responsive, which is something that no other lawyer has even come close to being for me! I am so glad that I found Sasha, because of how caring she was with my case. Thanks Sasha Dismuke you are the BEST.

If you've ever been told attorneys are dubious and unethical, this law firm doesn't miss the mark. They agreed to represent me in a case in which they had no intention to proceed and wasted my precious time in a time-sensitive case. I signed a binding contract with Shegerian & Associates on May 2, 2025, to represent me in a wrongful termination dispute with a company, contract dated April 29, 2025, and countersigned by Carney R. Shegerian on May 5, 2025. On the very same day of May 5, my company filed for bankruptcy, but Shegerian's law firm waited until September 24 to notify me they could no longer represent me due to the bankruptcy, despite our binding agreement. They wasted over four months of my time for nothing, sitting on my time-sensitive case with no real intention to proceed, banking on the slim chance this rapidly liquidating company would somehow reverse course, all without telling me this. I thought, as anyone would, that they had actual interest in proceeding, especially since we were bound by contract.
The entire time, I was kept in the dark, violating Paragraph 3 of our contract, which requires the attorney to keep the client "reasonably informed of work done on Client's behalf". Despite my messages on May 27 and July 28, plus calls asking for updates, I was just told to be patient and that the attorneys were working on it - nothing about the impact of the bankruptcy on my case, and that they were literally just sitting on my case without intention to proceed.
Our contract even states in Paragraph 9 that they can only withdraw for "good cause," such as the client's breach or circumstances rendering representation "unlawfully or unethical" - not just because the opposing party goes bankrupt. At first, they were vague about the issue, but after repeated emails, the director finally called September 30 to explain their reason for dropping me. I pointed out this was a violation of our contract, but she dodged the question and pushed me toward a bankruptcy lawyer, claiming the firm doesn't handle those cases (even though Paragraph 2 limits scope to litigation but doesn't mention dropping due to external events like this). Once again, why didn't they just tell me this back in May when the bankruptcy was declared? - I asked her only to have her repeat the same lines.
This is highly unethical malpractice and negligence, breaching their duties under the agreement and wasting precious time on a time-sensitive matter where I could lose my ability to pursue claims. I'll be complaining to the relevant authorities, like the California State Bar. Avoid this firm - my contract disclaims any guarantees, but they didn't even try despite being under contract and risked serious harm to my time-sensitive case by making a contract with me, agreeing to pursue my case, while all along they knew that they very likely wouldn't want to proceed, without telling me this was their motive.

Compassionate, Fierce, and Incredibly Effective!
When I was wrongfully terminated during my maternity leave, I felt devastated, overwhelmed, and unsure of where to turn. Then I found Nicole--and everything changed. From the moment we spoke, she approached my case with genuine compassion, sharp legal insight, and unwavering determination.
Nicole took the time to listen to my story and validate my experience, making me feel supported and empowered at every step. She explained my rights clearly and never let me feel lost or intimidated by the legal process. More importantly, she fought--and she fought hard. Her confidence, professionalism, and attention to detail were unmatched.
Thanks to Nicole's dedication and expertise, we achieved an outcome that not only brought justice but gave me peace of mind and the ability to move forward. I am forever grateful. If you are facing discrimination or wrongful treatment at work--especially during such a vulnerable time like maternity leave--Nicole is the advocate you want on your side.
I would absolutely recommend Shegerian and Associates to anyone in need of legal help!
