Update to response: I'm choosing to remain anonymous. I'm speaking from 100% my truth and what our family experienced. We spent much longer as your clients then we had hoped for. Long drawn out time of turmoil and not taking our family serious, when it could have been concluded way sooner. More time with client = more money for attorney. The error Jay made showed that he overlooked our case and did not chose to double check his work as a professional. A settlement was made and it was to protect Jay by not bringing his error to court because the outcome wouldn't have been favorable for him. The fact he disregarded the Will /family members last wishes and made such crucial errors felt degrading. While the comment back is a generic response for reviews, I'm not surprised due to the experience we've had with this office. I hope if these people continue this work they can put families well being into thoughtful consideration and demonstrate the professional care one seeks during those times. It takes an honest professional with integrity behind this type of work , to continue to help others ... as this is a very sensitive subject to deal with . It's not a bank dealing with a transaction, it's someone's family who dealt with death(s), and the upmost respect and consideration is thoroughly appreciated if not expected from a professional. Thank you. Made HUGE mistakes, didn't check work thoroughly nor take my family seriously. Didn't do job correctly. Got family members against each other, refused to share "entitled" information because he didn't pay attention to who was the Executor and made things more confusing. Mixed up names after sitting with him for over an hour signing documents. Laughing (yes actually laughing) at us when we asked serious questions and concerns - completely unprofessional. Not organized , having no idea about certain forms we'd been discussing for months. Mixing up important dates that were actually incredibly disrespectful and degrading due to the fact Jay got our family members passing of dates incorrect and also have completely ignored the wishes of their Will. Can you do your job correctly please ? Or is this all so you can make more money at the end out of a suffering family who's trying to complete the Will in peace so they can process grieving and the whole array of emotions / life changes dealing with something such as this. It's disappointing how incompetent Jay has been. And very traumatizing. 1000000% Do NOT recommend.
