Michael Schaps is an incredible lawyer. You can immediately tell he has a deep understanding of the law, and is able to convey information clearly and firmly. He has a passion for his work, and a kindness that made him incredible to work with. It was obvious to me that he's in this field out of a desire to help his clients, and knowing I had Michael on my side made me feel confident and safe.

Not all heroes wear capes! Overwhelmed, frustrated, and completely at the end of my ropes, Michael Schaps walked me through my options and immediately took action on my case. I'm so grateful for all of his help and guidance.

I would not advise you to utilize his legal office. I recently contacted Michael regarding a legal matter, and unfortunately, my inquiry was met with disregard. Michael exhibited dismissive behavior, quite literally laughing at the seriousness of my situation and displaying a significant lack of willingness to provide assistance. He offered no serious consideration of my issue, which I was shocked to receive because this attitude sharply contrasts with his office's previous positive reviews. As a prospective client, I found this demeanor highly unprofessional and disrespectful, particularly because it comes from someone operating his own law practice. Regardless of his assessment of the viability of my issue to his practice, I expected a higher level of professionalism and courtesy. For me to write a whole google review on this, when I never write reviews and have never used this system before, should say something about how poorly this situation was handled. Edit: Upon receiving the owner's response and call about my review, I believe it is necessary to offer more context regarding the situation. We exchanged a quick phone call on April 2. In that 2 minute-long phone call, it was quickly evident that Michael was not taking my situation seriously. I understand the need to be blunt, as I am a blunt person myself, but his "practical solution" was advising me to "Tell them to go to hell". I responded to this with "That's unprofessional, I can't do that," and all he replied with was "So?" My issue was against a national organization over several thousand dollars, so the lack of seriousness my issue was treated with was shocking. His unprofessional attitude is what inspired this 1-star review, not his refusal to take my case.

Unfortunately I was in a car accident and was hit by a drunk driver, it was a very traumatic experience for me. I decided to hire a lawyer to help me with suing the other person's insurance for my personal injuries. I chose the Schaps Law office based off the great reviews I read online. The experience I had with The Schaps Law office was great from beginning to end! I was able to be seen for a consultation within a few days of calling. I went to the office which was very nice and I was greeted by Rachel at the front desk who was very nice and she even gave my daughter crayons and paper to color with while I talked to Micheal for my consultation. The consultation went great, Micheal listened to me and gave me all my options as far as moving forward. I decided to hire Micheal because from the beginning he was a great listener, honest, compassionate, and determined to help me get what I deserved for what I went through while also making sure my expectations are realistic for the type of case I had. Over the 10 months my case took to settle, Micheal made sure to communicate with me, send me updates, as well as getting back to me the same day when I had any questions or concerns. My overall experience was great! 10/10 highly recommend!
