Mr. Hitt was unresponsive throughout his representation and continues to be so to this day. He was unprepared for meetings. Even though we had not used anywhere near his full retainer, we had to jump to another lawyer when he kept trying to force us into a plea simply because he did not want to put in the work he had been paid for to understand the case. The new lawyer got the case dismissed completely and quickly. Hitt refused to return any of the retainer even though his work was subpar and caused a year of stress because of the ineffectiveness.
