I called this firm on November 5th to schedule a consult. I was informed the consult was scheduled for the following Thursday (11/13/25) at 1pm. There was no communication between the firm and I until the day of the consult. I received a text message, not even a phone call, at 9:16 AM telling me there's a "conflict of interest" so the attorney wouldn't be taking my case. Be that as it may, that's 7 full days to relay that message to me, but they decided to wait until the day of the consult to inform me. I was told the attorney was out of state, and couldn't look over the notes. I do believe there are multiple forms of communication in the world we live in. They had my phone number and my email address to get in contact with me. I have screenshots of the messages, but I'm not sure if Google will let me post them. I hope this firm invokes better methods to communicate with their future clients.

We were needing help with our rentals. Someone referred us to Will Harris. We set up a meeting for Friday the 19th at 1:00. He was tied up with another meeting that ran long so we rescheduled for 3:30. He did not show up at 3:30 either. Disappointed!

If I could rate lower than one, I would. We were quoted a price for our situation, and were charged at least DOUBLE in the end!! Life is stressful enough, and this firm has done nothing but add to it!! Steadily charging us for miscellaneous charges MONTHS LATER. Never a warning we would go over the quoted price, still no warnings!!!! Edit one week after posting the above review: HEATON and Harris did send a letter that expressed they apologize for the misunderstanding in pricing, what they had done AND they did send a check to reimburse a significant amount of the money we had paid. We are pleased with the acknowledgment as well as the reimbursement. We are thankful that they made it right.
