Client Testimonials

Client

★★★★★

Mike is a wonderful attorney. He is easy to work with and was good about keeping us in the loop about next steps. He really went to bat for my son, working after business hours when needed to help his case. Mike is knowledgeable, honest, and compassionate. He responded quickly to our questions, offered suggestions of things we could do to help our son's case, and ultimately was able to complete the job we hired him to do. Mike is such a blessing to our family!

BEST ATTORNEY IN TOWN! Mike Daniels in damn near family now. He saved my son from a life of misery after his dumb choices and then saved me after I did the same. Kind, courteous, determined and the hardest working attorney I have ever met. Well mannered and tells it like it is. An attorney that actually cares? Who woulda thought! Mike is my go to for anything and everything legal in this town. And if you are reading these reviews then you are already there. You need Mike Daniels. 100% all time best attorney in AZ. He cares and he is a fighter. Best decision I ever made.

Client

I'm incredibly disappointed with Mike's "professionalism". He was rude and treated me and my kid like we were idiots. When we had questions he waved them off and gave us very little options. He was very condescending and I'm very upset with his behavior. Within the first sentences out of his mouth, you could tell he was a public defender, you could tell he didn't care about our case. He just wants an open and close case, he doesn't actually care about resolving anything. When we were leaving and saying thank you and take care, he wouldn't even look me in the eyes. He could use a manner and a sensitivity class. I highly recommend asking for a different public defender cause this guy just sucks.

Mike helped my son with a traffic situation he was involved in. He was extremely helpful, gracious, compassionate, and informative. He was also very kind to my son, which I appreciated greatly as a parent. Mike knows the laws and how to work within the legal system. We couldn't be happier to have worked with him, and I strongly recommend him!

Mr. Daniels has proven he has no interest in defending you if you are going to fight false charges. The defendant is supposed to be present at the Initial Pretrial Conference and discovery or evidentiary hearings. That didn't happen. He never even stated there was a plea deal offered, even though the I would not accept any pleas. The prosecutor lied and stated the I filed subpoenas for friends of the plaintiff and Mr. Daniels never questioned that lie, stating the It filed them. He even emailed me that day, 8/6/24, but never mentioned the subpoenas. Two days before trial, he files to withdraw as attorney. When that was denied, he filed for a Rule 11 hearing, which tabled the trial for another 9 months, on top of the 12 months already passed. There was a subsequent hearing after the Rule 11 evaluation but he failed to notify me of that hearing. I found out about the hearing listed and contacted him, stating it conflicted with a doctor appointment. He said he would get it moved up a week or 2, but never did. He also never stated the time was changed, causing the unnecessary cancellation of the medical appointment. The prosecutor falsely claimed I had filed a motion in November and Mr. Daniels said nothing. There were no motions filed by anyone that month and he would not counter the prosecutor's lies. I had asked for a new judge and was denied. The original judge signed some papers on 12/31/24 so it was surmised that he was still the judge. On attending the next hearing, I walked into the court room to find a different judge. Again Mr. Daniels said nothing prior to that hearing, including in the waiting area on that day where he walked past and didn't even acknowledge me. And yes, he saw me and quickly walked away. Mr. Daniels subpoenaed my defense witnesses for the original trial date but REFUSED to subpoena them for the second trial date. He stated they were "unnecessary witnesses". There was tension between myself and Mr. Daniels as he kept saying I was guilty and then not guilty. It got so bad, on 4/15/2025, he yelled at me in the courthouse hall yelling that if "you hadn't stolen anything, you wouldn't be here". He also blocked me from leaving the building. When going into the trial on 5/16/2025, Mr. Daniels stated "the nails are in your coffin". He presented absolutely no evidence in defense of me. He barely cross-examined the prosecution's witnesses. When the prosecutor and the officer presented a fabricated screen shot of BWC video from the day after the original arrest, he never challenged it, allowing the perjury by both to stand. There was no BWC video from that day per PPD Records. This was reconfirmed with Prescott PD Records Junette Ellis on 7/23/25. His opening statement was weak and his closing statement was a joke. A smirk was seen on his face when a guilty verdict came back on 1 charge. What he did was legal neglect by not putting forth any effort to defend me, his client. Legal Neglect? Legal Malpractice? Grounds for Post Conviction Relief? This was clearly a case of ineffective counsel.
