My mother passed away without a will so Jackson and White was hired to deal with her affairs to pass the assets through probate. This is a very long and frustrating process, and having an attorney to facilitate the process is critical. The attorney filed all the court paperwork and facilitated communication with the other heir in order to get everything signed and submitted for court approval on time. In addition, all my questions and follow ups were answered promptly, of which there were many. I feel that the cost incurred to use an attorney versus navigating the probate process oneself is well worth the money.
