Hello, My custom tower was repaired by Up North Computers a few months ago and after using it for that period of time I would like to talk about my experience with them and their repair of my computer. I will start by saying that I had no idea these guys existed. I needed their services because I built a custom tower, which I have done a few times before, but this time was different. I completed the build and started it up, and updated all my drivers and my bios and everything in between. The computer ran well, at first. All of a sudden the computer would windows blue screen and restart itself and then continue to restart over and over. I tried fixing it myself and researching it for a while. I even took the tower completely apart and put it back together but nothing seemed to change. Unfortunately, I didn't know of any computer repair shops in town and a google search at the time was not helpful either. So I waited for two years before I accidentally found them. When I contacted them they were extremely kind and professional and said they would love to see my custom PC in the shop. After I took it to them they worked on it for about two days before calling me with the fix. They even suggested some upgrades they could do in the shop that would make my PC run faster and perform better. One of those items is their annual cleaning service, where they update practically everything on the PC and clean the whole computer. I readily agreed, and a few days later went to pick up my PC. I will say that it looked immaculate, just like the day I built it. They even sat down with me and explained everything they updated, which is a perk of their annual cleaning service. The PC runs better than it ever has and I use it every single day. All that said, if you have a computer issue, or just want to have your PC running way better than it ever did. Then you need to take your computer to these folks. I will forever use them, and recommend them to anyone. They made a life long customer and I am more than happy to give them all my business. Had Up North computers build my new pc. Came out perfect. Went with all reccomendations they said. The wiring is fantastic. Explanation of what was done and showing how too use the new windows 11 was great. The tech made it easy too understand and was happy too answer questions. Computer is the fastest I ever owned. tl;dr 10/10 will business again.

I was having problems with my Laptop overheating and spontaneously shutting down, often in the middle of a task. This was annoying because not only is my Laptop brand ordinarily reliable, but I purchased it less than two years. Fearing the worst, I brought it in to Up North Computers for evaluation and repair. Steven met me and immediately put me at ease. He explained everything, from safeguarding my security to the painstaking steps they take to back up and preserve files and data. Hunter, the technician assigned to take care of my Laptop, quickly reached out to me to explain his findings as well as his plan and the cost for the repair. He called me as soon as the work was completed. When I stopped in to pick up my Laptop he took the time to sit down with me one last time to log in and do a final check. He didn't want me to walk out the door until he was confident that everything was operational and in good working order. In summary, I can describe the technicians and staff at Up North Computers as polite, professional, excellent communicators, and highly competent. However, what I liked most about the people at Up North Computers is that nobody I interacted with had a shred of arrogance. I'm an old guy who is very low tech, and it's obvious as soon as I open my mouth. Everybody there was polite, patient, and treated me with respect. For these reasons and others, I can give Up North Computers my highest recommendation for your Computer technical support needs. If your experience is anything like mine, you will be very satisfied.

I took my gaming pc to these guys that I bought prebuilt from best buy a year ago, and I have nothing but good things to say, I was having issues with a corrupt system due on my part downloading a update driver system and they where able to uncorrupt it and help me tune my pc up a little bit, when I went to pick it up it looked brand new and they took the time to sit down and make sure everything was running right and showed me the proper ways to update it, if I haven't future problems these guys are getting the first phone call, I appreciate everything you guys did for me thank you guys so much for getting me back into gaming

After running into errors during an upgrade, they took me in and made it right it'll the finest of ways. Not only did they explain costs and rough time-frame, they found me pieces to make my build better. Loaded everything up so she was ready to go almost immediately and the cord cleanliness is divine. Worth every penny for the piece of mind and beauty I got back.
