I had a very ugly divorce case that involved complicated property (stock options) and a tough custody battle. Unfortunately, Bradly Carlson seemed more interested in winning for his ego than actually protecting my interests. He advertised the cost savings in using his younger associates but then charged me for reviewing their work at his full rate. After I paid him nearly $200k and all my retirement, I lost on nearly all counts and Bradly blamed me. Towards the end he refused to even talk to me resulting in me being completely unprepared going into a hearing where I got crushed by opposing counsel resulting in me paying my ex's lawyer fees and additional child support. In the end I felt taken advantage of by Mr Carlson who - I think just can't help himself in his desire to be a big powerful firm - maybe like what he sees on TV. He might be great for others - but not for me.
