Sherry was phenomenal from start to finish. She kept us calm and comforted through an anxious time. And we felt like she would fight for us if we needed her to. The adoption has been such a blessing for our family, and we owe it to Steve and Sherry. Thank you!!

Didn't even get out of the starting blocks! I called today, the lady answered the phone in a very rude/hoggish manner. After I greeted her, she responded with a 'hurry up, what do you want' tone. I proceeded to tell her I submitted a message on their website over a week ago, and never received a response. Before I could get it out good, she rudely cut me off, saying the website doesn't work. Well, if it doesn't work, why does it still allow people to submit messages to you? How about removing that feature so it doesn't waste peoples' time? Before I could get anything else out, she said she needed to put me on hold, while she did something... After I got tired of waiting several minutes, I decided these are not the people I would like to represent me in any shape, form, nor fashion. I only contacted this particular law firm because they came up as a recommendation from the MetLife legal plan, that's part of my benefits. I intend to leave them a nice review with MetLife as well, and I don't leave many reviews... I was already skeptical of contacting a law firm out of Cullman, AL. I should've followed my instincts and kept looking. A little professionalism will go a long way, especially in situations where people don't want to have to deal with a lawyer in the first place.

WORST EXPERIENCE WITH AN ATTORNEY I'VE EVER HAD!! Smith & Smith LLP was recommended to me then hired to do a simple deed transfer for a land sale. The deed transfer was created and ready to be picked up by the new owner. A problem was encountered during the process. Instead of investigating the already resolved issue, Smith & Smith LLP refused to look into it and follow through with the job that he had already been paid to do. They decided to simply refund my payment and walk away so I had to start all over with a new attorney. After procuring one, I found out that I was probably lucky that I did. Smith & Smith LLP didn't offer or provide additional federally required steps to the transfer. My new attorney was surprised. Maybe they backed out because of incompetence and the fact that a simple land transfer is more than they are equipped to handle. I don't know. Proceed with extreme caution if you're thinking about using Smith & Smith LLP. Their only redeeming factor was that the receptionist was nice and very helpful. Responding to Mr. Smith's comment below; when you have been married over 40 years, you work as a team. I actually couldn't post her comments because they are worse than mine.

Came here looking for legal help in a probate matter after the passing of my mother and really felt like I didn't have enough money for these people to give me any attention. Seems the people in the front office here don't have time for those that aren't part of the known click of this stupid ass town called Cullman. Only go here if you have the right last name or the properties involved are worth lots of money, if they're not they really don't want to mess with you.

I can't say enough good things about the whole staff! They are friendly, kind and so understanding!
